Officially the unofficial beer of the Wet Bandits; built on a base of Italian Ericlea malt plus carafoam and rice with gentle dry hops of Hallertau Blanc.
Dark, full-bodied, long-kilned malts create a deep amber Berliner Weisse with earthy aromas; aging in Cypress wood adds acidity and dry malt spice.
Assertively dry-hopped then bottle-conditioned with various yeasts, including Brettanomyces, a wild strain that imparts a distinctive earthy quality.
Brewed with pecans, wheat and flaked rye then 1/4 aged in bourbon barrels; an intense, flavorful blend loaded with roasty notes and malty complexity.
